Today, the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department Candlewood Company was honored to visit the Goddard School for a Fire Safety presentation in collaboration with the Brookfield Fire Marshal’s Office. During the visit, students were given a tour of Engine 21 and educated about the role of the fire department. We also showed them what we look like in our fire gear, so they would recognize us and feel safe if they ever need our help.
The students were thrilled to see a real fire truck up close, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to educate them about fire safety. Thank you to the Goddard School and their wonderful staff for having us today. We look forward to continuing our efforts to promote safety and awareness in our community.
